Please join us on Tuesday! Math and Reading manipulatives will be given out on this night to every single student with information on how to use these tools to help your student. We hope to see you there.

REMINDER ABOUT THE UPCOMING HOLIDAYS FOR STUDENTS

Students in Ms. Wingard's 3rd grade are actively practicing 2-step problems using a hopscotch course, operation generator, and beanbags. First, students toss the beanbag and hop to their first factor. Then toss and hop to their second factor and multiply. After calculating the product, students toss the number generator to either add or subtract a third factor. After the active portion of this center, students must record and solve their equations, making sure to use parentheses to represent the first step in the equation. We are so proud of our Mustangs! Keep up the great work!

We can't wait to see our Sweet Hearts!

Learners in Ms. Crawford's first grade class created a travel brochure about Mardi Gras in Mobile for their Concept Question board. These learners are also working on sequencing after reading. We are so proud of our Mustangs! #meadowlakemustangs #perseverancepropelsprogress

Third Graders in Ms. Schreiner's and Ms. Wingard's classes enjoyed showing off their love for our school counselor, Ms. Buck!

💙 Counselor Appreciation Week 💙
Helping students grow, solve problems, and believe in themselves—one conversation at a time! Thank you for being a safe place, a cheerleader, and a constant source of support for our school. 🌟

We hope you are able to join us!

Please see our breakfast and lunch menu for the month of February.

Learners in Ms. Lacey's fourth grade class are learning about Alabama's role in World War I. Students were able to collaborate in groups to create a project represented Alabama's role in World War I. Learners discussed roles such as The Great Migration and The Women's Suffrage Movement. Keep up the great work, Mustangs!

Ms. Buck helps our Meadowlake Elementary Mustangs navigate big emotions, build friendships, and believe in themselves every day. Thank you for your patience, kindness, and heart for our students—we are so lucky to have you! 🌈🐎

Please help us keep our students and staff healthy. #MeadowlakeMustangs

We have loved have our Kid's First instructor, Ms. Channell on campus with our students. Today, our third graders were building and interpreting fractions on a number line. We can't wait to see our students using this strategy during other lessons! Way to go Mustangs!

🎶➕ Math in Motion! ➖🕺
Our first graders got their brains warmed up with a math brain break stretch video that had them counting, moving, and grooving before diving into their math review! 💃🧠
After getting the wiggles out, they were focused and ready to tackle adding and subtracting equations like math superstars ⭐️📚. Learning is always better when we move!

1st graders in Ms. Barbour's class read Snowmen at Work. With the help of our reading coach, Ms. Wilson, learners are using the stages of the writing process to persuade someone to hire them for a job. We are so excited to see their final drafts.
