Welcome Back! This week, students are learning classroom routines, expectations, and requirements/course work. It’s all about getting comfortable and ready for a great year. “GO TIGERS!!!”
Parent Meeting Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where can I get the bus papers (routes)? A: Copies are in the front office.
Q: What is the school schedule? A: 7:00am-2:25. Students must be off campus by 2:25pm.
Q: How do I access my child’s grades? A: You will access all grades through the PowerSchool portal.
Q: How can I communicate with my child’s teacher? A: You will contact your child’s teacher through the MCPSS app. (Flyers were sent home by today.)
DMS Uniform Policy
In accordance with MCPSS, Dunbar Magnet School administration, teachers, and staff will strictly enforce our uniform policy.
The administrative team will make final decisions pertaining to compliance with the policy and discipline as a result of non-compliance.
Responsibility for proper uniforms and appearance of the students begins with parents.

Download the Mobile County Public Schools app from the App Store or Play Store and enable Notifications. Click "More" on the bottom. Then click the Settings icon up top. Under Schools, click "Subscribe" and select your school(s) to receive important news and updates. MCPSS will email instructions to parents/guardians on how to use the Rooms feature, which will allow you to receive information from your child's teacher(s).
