Booker T. Washington Middle School held a special celebration on Monday, January 26, 2026 to honor of their principal, Mr. Craig O. Williams. The assistant principal, Mr. Leroy Jones, along with the faculty and staff surprised Mr. Williams and presented him with an award for his "leadership, dedication and hard work of moving his school from Priority to Qualifying status". Central Office personnel were in attendance as well. CONGRATULATIONS, Mr. Williams!

Ram Family, MCPSS has been monitoring the weather all weekend and has been in discussion with Mobile County emergency officials regarding the forecast for Monday. Based on the most recent updates, we will have school on Monday, January 26, on our normal schedule. Students are expected to wear their uniforms, but to stay warm, they will have the option of layering either under or over their uniforms. We will continue to monitor the weather and the roads. We look forward to seeing each of our students tomorrow. Uniform Reminder for Parents & Students 🥶 With the cold weather tomorrow, students may layer their uniforms with appropriate outerwear, including: ✔️ Jackets/coats 🧥 ✔️ Beanies or hats ✔️ Scarves 🧣 ✔️ Gloves 🧤 ✔️ Long-sleeve shirts worn under uniform tops We are encouraging students to layer. 🚫 Please note: throws, blankets, and pajamas are not permitted during the school day. ❄️ Bundle up, Rams!
